Luiza Brown

Luiza’s accomplishments include the creation in the mid-eighties of one of the first business networking organizations in Southern California. Her Business Breakfast Network created a community of sharing that she then took to leadership positions in other organizations including The Network, Sunrise HIV/AIDS Coalition and Optimist International.

She has worked extensively with youth, leading a bi-annual weeklong camp in the San Bernardino Mountains for many years before coming to Maine to build the youth program at Ferry Beach Camp and Conference Center.

In 2004, Luiza brought “In the Company of Women,” a weeklong conference, to Ferry Beach. This unique conference offers women of all ages, spiritual practices and sexual orientation the opportunity to celebrate their unique selves while taking advantage of programming that is challenging and energizing.

During her work life, Luiza has mastered many jobs. She managed an insurance office, a coffee house and a book store, all the while developing policies that empowered staff honoring the gifts they brought to the business by focusing on creativity and joy. She and her talented chef husband run a food management and catering business where those same policies are used. Luiza recently held the positions of Quality Coach and Trainer for a company renowned for its world class customer service. All the while she was dedicated to bringing her own authentic self to her work while helping others to do the same. Her success in the business world led her to expand her Authentic Living practice. This has allowed her the opportunity to truly live and work with purpose, on purpose, following the path she was born to live!

In workshops and seminars, she teaches communication, conflict resolution and community building. She also facilitates creative writing and art programming. She is known as a person who brings a gift for both clarity and creativity to any task while bringing those same traits out in those with whom she works.

By using her “7 Aspects of Authentic Living”, Luiza assists others to identify areas in which they need to make changes in order to get back on their authentic life path.
