Becky Allen is editor/publisher of Open Roads magazine, a publication that's
local in geography, and global in her heart, as her love letter to the
world. She truly enjoys creating a unique monthly repository of uplifting,
inspiring, and (sometimes) educational articles, stories, and essays. Read more.
Becky's path to this particular expression of her Life on Purpose has been
wonderfully circuitous. Having arrived at this point, she feels blessed by
all the teachers and students she's met along the way and deeply appreciates
life as a work in progress with unlimited possibilities. She and Open Roads
are growing together, having visions of moving into cyberspace—building a
website, offering electronic subscriptions, and who knows what else? She's
excited about moving to the next level, whatever transpires!
Becky is a longtime student of A Course In Miracles, a licensed Science of
Mind Practitioner, and free-lance writer. She's lived most of her life in
and around the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, including the mountains of
Nelson County where she presently resides with her two feline companions.
Her perspective and, thus, her writing are shaped by this land she calls
home and the folks she calls family, where she first learned about love.
