A former senior editor at Interview Magazine, contributing editor to O, The Oprah Magazine and Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, Mark's work has appeared in numerous anthologies and publications, including The New Yorker, Details, Harper's Bazaar, The Village Voice, AARP Magazine, The Utne Reader, McCalls and The New York Times Magazine. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, he is co-author (with Andrew Harvey) of Dialogues With a Modern Mystic, co-editor (with Ram Dass) of Still Here, and Chairman of VMen, and international coalition for ending violence against women and girls (with playwright Eve Ensler). He lives in New York City.
