Katy has assisted thousands of individuals toward achieving their career goals through a variety of career counseling and support activities. Additionally, Katy has worked with organizations such as Agilent Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, Poudre Valley Health Services, and Banner Health Systems on employee career development and transition projects.
Katy's training includes a Masters degree in Career Development and Counseling from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee. She is currently completing her Licensed Professional Counselor designation. Prior to her work in career counseling, Katy was employed with high technology companies in marketing communications and management.
Katy is a member of the National Career Development Association, and has received training from "What Color is Your Parachute" author Richard Bolles, as well as master resume writer Louise Kursmark. She has been named "Business Associate of the Year" from the American Business Women's Association, has been recognized nationally as a top-10 career counselor for her effectiveness in helping clients, and was nominated Career Practitioner of the Year 2009 by the National Career Development Association.
