Cindy Coney

Cindy Coney of Tampa, Florida is a nationally respected educator with 25 years of experience conducting programs for more than 3500 school districts from New York to New Mexico, and in countries such as Belize.

As president and founder of Monarch Training and Consulting, she assists individuals and organizations in creating health and well-being.  Her pioneering work in wellness and prevention has been recognized by government agencies and Fortune 500 companies.  She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the National Board of Lupus Foundation of America based in Washington, DC.  She is the author of the workbook and tape series, The Wild Woman’s Guide to Living with Illness (www.cindyconey.com).

Despite having been diagnosed with lupus at the age of 25, she has continued to live her life fully, including completing a marathon (all 26.2 miles!), riding in a hot air balloon and driving a racecar 122 miles per hour!  And she’s able to do all that, in part, because she faithfully keeps a wellness journal.
